Laser cladding

Laser cladding, or laser metal deposition, is an advanced technique that enhances surfaces by adding a new layer of material. Using a high-precision laser beam and metallic powder or wire, a strong metallurgical bond with the base material is formed. This method delivers exceptional quality and durability, making it an ideal alternative to traditional welding.

Laser cladding is mostly used for repairing gas turbine components, especially those made from directionally solidified (DS) or single crystal (SX) materials. Our laser cladding facility is dedicated primarily to the repair and restoration of gas turbine components, with particular expertise in directionally solidified (DS) and single-crystal (SX) materials. Utilizing advanced laser cladding technology, we restore worn or damaged areas with exceptional precision while preserving the metallurgical integrity and mechanical properties of these high-performance alloys.
