Additive manufacturing is transforming the design and production of advanced gas turbine components by enabling greater design flexibility, improved accuracy, and reduced manufacturing lead times. Turbinetech GmbH is among the pioneering companies utilizing state-of-the-art 3D printing technologies to support both investment casting and the direct production of high-performance turbine components.

For investment casting applications, our partner manufacture highly accurate positive patterns and ceramic cores using advanced additive manufacturing processes. Our 3D-printed ceramic cores are specifically developed for equiaxed (EA), directionally solidified (DS), and single-crystal (SX) castings, providing the precision and consistency required for complex hot gas path components.

In addition, we offer additive manufacturing of gas turbine components using Selective Laser Melting (SLM). Based on CAD-engineered digital models, components are produced layer by layer from Inconel 718, delivering complex geometries, excellent dimensional accuracy, and outstanding mechanical performance. These advanced manufacturing capabilities enable faster prototyping, efficient production, and high-quality solutions for demanding power generation and oil & gas applications.
